This photo was taken almost 52 years ago to the day — me (I still have that christening gown) and my sponsors, Aunt Carol (my mother's younger sister) and her fiance Frank. They were married about a month-and-a-half later and had a brand new baby of their own, also a girl, on April Fool's Day of the following year. They had four children altogether, another girl and then two boys. One of their boys, Kevin, the youngest, died of cancer a few years ago.
Tragically, on November 1st, Frankie and his sister-in-law were killed in a car accident — the brothers and their wives had been travelling, taking care of family business out of state.
Today, we lay Frank to rest with his son. Rest in peace, Frankie.
How sad to live a full life like that and be killed in a car accident. I’m sorry for your loss.
Sorry for your loss.
I’m so sorry for your loss. I’m thinking of you and your family.
Peace to you and yours, Vicki. My thoughts are with you today.
That’s awful. I’m so sorry for you and your family.
I am so sorry. It is hard to lose a loved one, whether through long illness or sudden accident.
