SATURDAY
I’ll be at the Farmers’ Market on Saturday (it’s been a while ), followed by the start of the Fall Purge at home.
Or a trip to Stevens Point to help Maddy move.
SUNDAY
I’m hoping to stencil some fabric! We’ve had a small air compressor for ages and I finally bought a little Badger Air-Brush 250-4 Mini Spray Gun Set to use with it. GADGETS, I love ’em! I’ve stenciled fabric for small projects using a pump spray bottle or a sponge, but that’s not going to work for the bigger projects that have been waiting in the wings: the Alabama Chanin coat from Natalie’s Craftsy class (Hand-Embellishing Knit Fabric: Stenciling, Appliqué, Beading and Embroidery) and a DIY AC/DKNY dress! Once upon a time I thought that dress might be done in time to wear to a mid-August farm wedding; now I’ll be happy to have a new dress for next summer! It’s time to at least get the painting done.
And continuing with the Fall Purge.
Or a trip to Stevens Point to help Maddy move.
MONDAY
Happy Labor Day!
It would be really great to block my finished Follow Your Arrow shawl!
And one of these days, I’d also like to begin organizing my yarn stash; photographing it and getting it into Ravelry, or getting rid of it if I don’t think I’ll ever use it. Yep.
And continuing with the Fall Purge.
TUESDAY
This might be a good day to assess the winter woolens situation. 🙂
If it’s a holiday weekend for you, I hope you have a great one! Don’t worry, there will be plenty of relaxing, too.

It sounds like you put the labor in Labor Day! Glad there will be some relaxing also!
oooh it’ll be fun to watch you do the Chanin projects along with your knitting. I did terrible stencilling with a little spray bottle. I am going to try foam brush next time I think.(assuming I finish this first project)
How cool you’ll be stenciling your own AC! I feel as if that’s just more than I can take on…AC will do my stenciling. I’m loving my AC project and thinking bigger for the next.
Having my stash on Ravelry has been a great asset, as I can shop my stash. You’ll love it, too.
My weekend project is cleaning the guest room and getting ready for a friend who is coming for the Alta Retreat. yay!
Tossing the stash is a great inspiration! You’ll see yarns you had sort of forgotten about, and potential combinations, and new project galore!
Good luck with all of that!
My weekend project is building a new website for our business. My goal was to get it done by Labor Day and I’ll have to get moving!
smiling at Bonny’s comment – my thought was “wow, that sounds pretty ambitious”. hope you make progress on multiple fronts! no big plans here except wrapping up loose ends before the baby 🙂
