I am smack dab in the middle of a long weekend, heading to Minneapolis today for the Gregory Alan Isakov concert this evening. We'll hit a couple of museums tomorrow* before heading home.
I did some dyeing over the weekend… indigo and more! I barely spent two seconds in my basement dye studio over the summer, and it was a year ago that we were getting it all set up… I guess autumn/winter is my time down there!
*I cast my ballot weeks ago so I wouldn't have to worry about making it home in time! Fingers crossed!!

Gorgeous yarn, and I am also crossing my fingers!
That blue is stunning! Have a terrific trip!
Gorgeous shades. Enjoy the concert! I’ve been listening to his music since you first mentioned him on your blog several weeks ago.
Ooo! Have fun! And, that yarn is gorgeous!
Beautiful! Did you use real indigo or a synthetic? I just did some shibori today and we used something from Dharma. I’m sure it was a synthetic, that gave great results but not the darkest blues, there was no dipping to increase color, just soaking.
Welcome back to the studio – LOVE seeing what you create there! (fingers, toes and everything else crossed today 🙂
That blue is AMAZING! I love indigo dyed yarn and fabric and wonder about dyeing my own. (Probably not.)
I am late to this post, but I know TODAY is THE day! Happy Birthday, grrlfriend!! I hope it is awesome and beautiful and full of JOY! xox
Have a great time!
This is fabulous yarn! Can’t wait to see more of what you whip up.
