13: Scenes from a Sunday

The kiddos came over yesterday afternoon for a couple of hours.

They have their “routines,” at Nona’s… watching movies, LEGO & K’nex, puzzles, Minecraft, coloring, painting…

Malina’s side-eye… not happy about Davy’s scribbling. “He’s making ME scribble (with frustration)!”

Ginny found some money — a dollar bill, a couple of coins — which inspired her to set up a little store. She collected some random things from around the house & gave me the money so I could go shopping! I bought some yarn & some photos, and complimented her on knowing what her customer would want! I should have taken photos of the shopkeeper with her shop! (Next time…)

Painting time — with snacks.
We’re gonna need more paint soon!

I had to steal those last two photos from Kate’s IG story. I love that perspective.

  1. I’m always impressed with how well they play with each other. and your photos make me think our Boys Closet needs a refresh … maybe something we can tackle with their help over the holidays!

  2. What a joy to have those kids so close by and what fun you all have together. Malina’s side eye cracks me up – especially aimed at Davy – I remember Davy’s side eye pictures that you posted quite some time ago (he is growing FAST).
