The sky was aglow this morning.
It’ll be windy today… and around 65F. It’ll cool down some over the weekend and then next week… oh boy, chilly! We picked a good time to get outta Dodge. It looks like it’ll be rainy & cloudy when we’re in Cusco, Ollantaytambo* and at Machu Picchu…
That’s a screenshot from yesterday’s memories — it tickles my funny bone! Seriously, though, that album by “Aaron Burr” is still one of my favorites. Leslie Odom Jr | Simply Christmas. His other holiday release, The Christmas Album, is a little newer and just as great. I’m not in Christmas music mode yet, but when that switch gets flipped, those are at the top of my list.
This also made me laugh… I can’t determine whether it’s an actual Calvin & Hobbes strip by Bill Watterson or someone’s clever editing. Either way, IT’S JUST SO TRUE!!! We gotta just hold on for another month before things start moving the other way again.

Our back door is open! Not fully, but fresh air and I think Fletch and I can sit out at 4 with our beverages. The past few days though it has gotten warmer have been awfully windy. Today is gorgeous. When do you leave and who all is going? Have fun!!
