I stopped off at Annie’s last night to make another wreath. I don’t always love making things twice, but this was definitely an exception. It was so great to know exactly what I needed to do, how to streamline the process a bit, and (especially) to have room to spread out!
Traditionally, the greens are wired onto the wreath frame but we used zip ties. Since I had a specific number of them in my kit, I knew exactly how many bundles I needed to make. We were all fumbling a bit with zip ties + bundles + frame equation at the workshop, so I thought I’d get the zips all “started,” and then I could space them out evenly in the sections of the frame, too.
I put on some Christmas music while I trimmed, stacked, bundled, and zipped! All told, it took less than an hour and it was really fun to do. I put the bow & froo-froo on Ann’s and hung it on her front door.
I have a crappy 6:30 a.m. picture of mine hanging on the garage door. ha.

I’ve made wreaths with that green florist wire before but they weren’t very neat or able to withstand much movement on the door. I’m impressed with your zip tie expertise and how lovely the wreath looks!
Zip ties! Brilliant!!!! I’ve used florist wire for mine in the past, and . . . well. Found it frustrating. Maybe I’ll give it a try again (next year) with zip ties! Your wreath looks great, even at 6:30 am. XO

Gorgeous~! Imiss having a green wreath (we always hang a pinecone wreath that Fletch’s Mom made and it is beautiful, but I miss the greenery!
