Weekending

Weekending…

…continues, and not because it’s Presidents’ Day! I’m on Day 4 of one of my 5-day weekends and I’ve spent quite a bit of it in my workroom. Cleaning, organizing, tossing. There is still plenty to do. I’m not sure anyone would notice the difference from a few days ago, but I do, and it’s motivating me to continue.

Among the things unearthed is a vintage “easy care” sheet.

I bought it at a shop or sale with the idea of dresses for the girls. It just so happens that Ali will be sewing dresses for the girls soon and this fabric will be among the choices! I’m throwing it in the washer momentarily.

And getting back to work!

  1. That fabric is perfect for little girl dresses!!! I’m looking forward to organizing (and purging) once I’m fully done with work! just under two weeks now. Woo-Hoo!

  2. You could really get some things done over a five-day weekend! I’m pretty sure my mother had that sheet set, but it will make great dresses.

  3. The sheets would make SUCH cute dresses! (I would’ve loved having those sheets on my bed when I was in junior high. So groovy!) I’ve been doing a lot of digging out these days, too. It feels so much . . . lighter!!!! Enjoy!
