I lied… I have done a little knitting lately.

I’ve churned out three more dishcloths (ultimately headed upstairs for Airbnb guests) and, after a couple of idle evenings, started another last night (for us). I can practically do them in my sleep.
Do y’all read Modern Daily Knitting? Today’s self-care post by Max Daniels is all about making a plan for winter — specifically, making a WINTER HAPPINESS PLAN (WHP), inspired by a post by Amelia Greenhall last year. It’s brilliant! And I immediately sent a message to Kate & Ali proposing a monthly (at least) get together to cut & paste stuff, paint stuff, sew stuff… whatever, but TOGETHER for a few free & uninterrupted hours each month.
That, alone, makes me feel better about the coming cold months… but I will fluff up my WHP a little more in the next few weeks. Give myself some direction…
Have a happy weekend!

Oooh — what’s the pattern on the washcloths?
What goodies here! Thank you for the enticement!
(And what’s the yarn you used for your dishcloths? I like the looks of that pattern, too — airy!)
Loads of goodies here! I cast on for the next Gnome part last night… I did not get far, but it felt good!
I like the idea of a WHP! (Perhaps it should include a blog component!!)
A little direction is often a good thing, and I also love both the yarn and the pattern you’re using for those dishcloths! I think the pattern looks like Chinese Waves but I’m wondering what that lovely looking yarn is.
I like this Winter Happiness Plan and I’m going to try and come up with one of my own.
This might be comment #2, due to weird WordPress crap. Anyway, what I tried to say (and maybe did say) was that I, too, am developing a Winter Happiness Plan (which is such a great idea). And I also wonder . . . what is that fabulous dishcloth pattern???
