Thanksgiving was fairly low-key around here this year, and it was perfect. I made Cornish hens, Ali brought Chex Mix (with extra Cheerios… just like my Grandma used to make it) & made cheesy potatoes, Kate contributed brussels sprouts & bacon-wrapped/cheese-stuffed dates, and Rusty made pumpkin pies. There were a few other things & a manageable amount of leftovers!

That’s one of my only photos from the day! I’ve been a terrible photographer lately and, hopefully, making a blog post every day this month will give me a little push to take more (and better) photos.

Sounds delicious! And just right.
Every single year I say I want to do Cornish Hens–then I never do!
Photos are blog fodder, 100% and since you’ll need it I bet you’ll be inspired to take more photos. Thanksgiving dinner sounds delish!
Sounds perfect (especially the Chex Mix)!
What a perfect Thanksgiving menu, Vicki! It sounds like a great day for all of you. And Davey!!!! When did he get to be such a . . . little boy??????
Davey… he looks so earnest in his coloring! He is looking so grown up!
