That's actually from early Wednesday afternoon! There was a slight change in the weather… and I can't say that I didn't see it coming. Oh, the drama! The first shot is from the deck behind the coffee shop as the sun was about to disappear; the second is just a few minutes later as I was getting into my car, which was parked in front across the street.
With the weather front came a drop in the temperature and a lot more wind! That made yesterday's walk the most challenging yet, plus it was precipitating a little. I hesitate to even call it "mist," but when you wear glasses you notice!
You are so right about the glasses! I often don’t wear my glasses when I walk because they slip. I walked a LOT in Vegas but it’s not the same as an intentional walk and I need to get back to that now.
Oh yes, you notice!
Have a great weekend Vicki.
Yes. Glasses notice precipitation AND humidity! (And, glasses or no, I notice those fronts coming in. . . )
Another front is headed our way for Monday and they say snow all week (off and on). The worst has been the very cold temperatures. The slide towards winter feels so sudden! As you said, only a little over a month and the light will start to return. yay!
It is interesting to see the dramatic change! Your wind has blown eastward to NJ today and tomorrow. That’s fine with me; it will blow most of the remaining leaves off the trees and maybe even blow them off my lawn. Happy Weekend!
we call that “precipitating a little” thing “Seattle rain” but around here we mostly get just plain ol’ rain. Thankfully we aren’t going to have any (at least we’re not supposed to!) this weekend…we need a few dry days to let the creeks and ground recover and I’m happy they’re coming on a weekend!
