Joining Kat & the Unravelers to share what I'm knitting and reading!
KNITTING:
I've started on the other belated Christmas present:
Ali's socks! They're exactly the same as Maddy's… and I realized that I did Christmas knitting for all three girls this year. This is an old photo, as I've already turned the heel and finished the gusset! Worsted FTW.
READING:
I finished Fashion Climbing: A Memoir with Photographs by Bill Cunningham. I enjoyed the glimpse at his early life and the crazy fashion industry, but I guess I tired of reading about fashion and sped through the last couple of chapters. Next up: My Brilliant Friend, which has long been on my TBR list, and was a gift from Carolyn K. for Jólabókaflóðið!
I also finished listening to Tom Hanks and am currently listening to Brené Brown read Daring Greatly: How the Courage to Be Vulnerable Transforms the Way We Live, Love, Parent, and Lead.
Alas, no snow day today…

I struggled with the last half of Bill’s book, but I’m glad I read (most) of it. I’ve been too wrapped up in writing this week to spend much time with a book in my ear. Time to change that. Ali’s socks are going to be so cozy!
I love the color for Ali’s socks. Is it one of yours? (Maybe you’ve already said, but I can’t recall.) I love the “Brilliant Friend” series. 🙂
I love those worsted weight socks – great colors!
The socks are great! Imagine Bill Cunningham photographing Gin (I just read your earlier post)!! I’ll be curious to see what you think of My Brilliant Friend – everyone seems to love the series, but I just could not get into it.
worsted weight FTW! (and DK weight is a very close runner up … looking forward to that next Make.Do update … just sayin’!)
I finally picked up My Brilliant Friend, now to actually read it!
Those socks are lovely!! They look so cozy and warm!
I just downloaded My Brilliant Friend and I can’t wait to get started!
Worsted socks – how toasty warm. Maybe you are just early for next Christmas!
