Sonia's stocking is finished! It's my third FO of the year.

Funny story… I received a text from Sonia's grandmother, Janet, on Friday evening. "Hello Vicki!! I have to ask… would you be up for another Xmas stocking?"
I thought about it for a minute, then replied, "I'm in the groove, so hit me."
What a miracle, she wrote, and alarming… I forgot that I already asked about Sonia!!
So GREAT!! There isn't another stocking to knit after all! Whew.
I'm back to the Family Temperature Blanket! It's been sitting close for months while I've worked on the kids' 5-Point Bomber, Mack's Graduation Blanket, a Musselburgh hat, a shawl, some dishcloths, and a Christmas stocking.
I've knit about 100 rows since I picked it up over the weekend! So happy to be working on this again, moving right along…

Sonia’s stocking looks wonderful, and for your sake, I’m glad to hear that there is not yet another stocking to knit! That temperature panel also looks quite interesting and I hope you can continue your progress.
How funny — I’m sure you made her very happy to be able to deliver on that request for a stocking right away! I’m also happy to see the temperature blanket back in rotation. I truly think the finished blanket is going to be a work of art.
The stocking is wonderful and thank God there is not another one to be in the works!!! Good to see your temperature blanket back out. The colors are so pretty. I bailed on that book. Just couldn’t do it!
I have a Mussleburgh hat question – I’ve been reading the pattern for a while now and am wondering if I am reading it right. You start the hat, and at the specified point, measure your gauge and carry on from there. My question is – what about blocking? It will get bigger when you block it, so how does that get taken into account? Or does it?
Very cute stocking. Santa looks much better with eyes. Funny how the people look fine without, but Santa? He needed eyes.

Oh, lucky break!!! So glad “another sock” turned out to be a false alarm!!! The sock, though, turned out really nicely, Vicki. A family treasure, for sure. And now . . . I’ll be looking forward to watching the epic family temperature blanket continue. XO
