Ali sent me this photo yesterday afternoon.

The theme for show and tell this week was
“something important to you”
and Malina picked your sweater! ![]()
Plotz.
That’s JUNEBEAN, an 8+ year old sweater that I knit for Junah! I love that cardigan. Malina has a knack for wearing things that should be too small. haha.
In other news, it’s the first Friday of November and I’m already sick of hearing “Black Friday.”
But, YAY, it’s FRIDAY!

That Malina is just the best for giving all those hand-me-down handknits a shiny new smile!
I love seeing your handknits on multiple grandkids! And I am with you on being done with Black Friday already. It seems that every single retailer entered into some sort of agreement to start on the first Friday in November.
I love seeing your handknits on multiple grandkids! At least every single retailer waited until the first Friday in Nov. to start with Black Friday; next year it will probably be in Oct.
She is way too adorable! 😊
Oh, swoon! What a great story — the sweater’s story (of extreme longevity) AND Malina’s story (“something important to you,” indeed!). What a sweetheart. XO
And I can’t believe how early I’m hearing “black Friday.” My goodness . . .
What a great sweater, what a great kid!! And yeah, I’m over Black Friday. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Valentine candy in the stores next week – Christmas candy and wrapping paper have been out for weeks!
