TGIF!

Tuning in…

I’ve been loving Spotify’s “daylist” — made just for me (or you) — there’s usually a theme based on the type of music you listen to & the list changes every few hours (one morphs into another)! Yesterday was heavy on ’90s. I’m amused by the playlist titles… “cozy granola vibes tuesday early morning,” “outlaw country red dirt tuesday afternoon,” “sensational 80s evening,” “soft soul flannel friday morning.”

Getting ready…

Registrations are complete. Campsite has been reserved. We’re on for another Peninsula Century Fall Challenge in Door County! It isn’t until September, but it feels good to have that all set.

So there’s another summer of cycling coming up. We briefly contemplated the Spring Classic again, but June… man, things are ramping up around here in June!

Ginny/Virginia! Alison subbed as the leader of Art Club at the kids’ school yesterday, and sent us this picture last night. “There was one circle on this sheet as the drawing prompt for a contest in art club.”

I may be biased, but I think we’re looking at the winner right there! Ginny’s obviously still pretty into planets.

Finally…

February! I can’t believe we’re heading into the final week. It’s usually such a slog, but I think our incredibly (unsettlingly) mild weather has helped to make it less so… a contributing factor, anyway. We were close to mid-50s (F) yesterday and the forecast shows a day next week in the 60s! Today it’s 33. heh. Just can’t help but feel that we’re going to get it (a ton of snow) at some point. March or April? May? We’ve had snow in May but never a ton, at least in my memory.
