Unraveled Wednesday: Two-thirds

I’m joining Kat & the Unravelers for Unraveled Wednesday! I can’t believe it’s been 6 weeks since my last Unraveled post!

KNITTING

I’m plugging away on Maddy’s panel for the Family Temperature Blanket and it’s about 2/3 done. And it’s finally not raining so I could get some photos!

This is the layout that I originally had in mind: Rusty, Kate, Ali, Maddy, Vicki — and is even reflected in my IG hashtag for the project #rkamvtemperatureblanket — we’ll see. I think I might like kravm, too.

It’s motivating to see it all laid out like that!

My gnome is still waiting to be finished… one of these days.

READING

I’m slower than molasses, but finally closing in on The Princess Bride! Audible sent me a reminder the other day that they’re still a thing…

SOMETHING ELSE

I cleaned all the type that I’m going to use & bought some appropriately sized cardstock…

…and will be locking up & pulling a couple of proof prints today!

  1. Your temperature blanket is inspiring whatever layout you choose! The type looks pretty cool just like that.

  2. What a project!!! Your temperature blanket will be amazing (actually it is already amazing!!). Fun type too!

  3. Printing! Oh, I hope you’ll share more next week! It’s one of my biggest dreamy loves.
But, man, your temperature blanket. The colors and borders — stunning, no question. It’s the shape of the rows that clinches it, though. A work of art, a work of the heart!

  4. I love your Temperature Blanket… I like the idea of you and Rusty on the edges, the girls in the middle. But kravm looks pretty darned awesome! I am eager to see your print work! XO

  5. the blanket is such a love letter to your family … the stories it tells about place and time – and all the care & expertise you’ve stitched into it. Cheering you on through this last (little) bit!

  6. The blanket just keeps getting cooler and cooler (or maybe I should say hotter and hotter?)! I love it so much, Vicki. And the type!!! It is so awesome. I can’t wait to see the prints!!! XO
