I can stop…

…whenever I want to!

I’ll run out of yarn soon, so then I’ll have to find something else. (Ravelry project info here.)

It’s been a week, y’all! I had one of my long/vacation weekends, much of which was spent cleaning & arranging/rearranging the upstairs apartment, or thinking about the upstairs apartment, or shopping for the upstairs apartment — things are getting crossed off the list! I met my self-imposed deadline & it’s re-listed with two new bookings so far. There’s still stuff to do — acquire a coffee table/ottoman or two & take better photos. It’s been a while… I felt like a newbie with my DSLR (not to mention Photoshop).

Kai is still on a “restful” schedule because of her broken toe, but she’s on the downhill slide & hardly favoring it at all, so we took a slightly longer-than-usual-hike around the Butterfly Pond at High Cliff State Park the other day.

We’re having a stretch of incredibly beautiful weather — cool mornings, sunny & warm days, rain only at night (if at all). It’s same-same as far as I can see in my weather app.

Do you use Google Photos? Whenever I open the app, there are some featured items to scroll through at the top — a recent “stylized” photo, a video or two, a themed carousel (most recently “Tasty Treats”) (yum!), and always lots of memories from years past, each one with a collage of the featured photos.

Yesterday, it was the camping trip that Junah & I took three years ago! Oh my goodness, that was so much fun!! And, y’know, I’m still pretty chuffed at having done it all by myself, including backing Ducky into the campsite. I’m sad that we haven’t camped at all this year (a packed calendar & thwarted plans).

Have a great weekend!

  1. You might be able to stop but I don’t know that you need to; those look like damn fine dishcloths!

  2. What beautiful pictures!! We have had some pretty amazing weather here as well. I’ve never thought to make dishcloths, but I do have a lot of cotton yarn kicking around here…hmmmm.
)PS…do you move your blog to blog press from typepad? Typepad has become pretty user unfriendly with regards to pictures.)

  3. Oh, I’m sure you COULD stop. But, really. Why would you? We’ve had similarly lovely weather on this side of the lake. It’s nice to enjoy a leisurely fall, isn’t it? (And Junah! What fun memories!) XO
