KNITTING CROCHETING:
I’m just about to begin the middle row:
(The morning light is getting more & more dim.)
There are two random blocks that I did before I actually made a plan…
…they may or may not fit in at the end. It helps to lay it all out from time to time.
There’s a variety of contrast in those blocks — from almost zero to pretty good. I think I have a plan for the layout, but it probably won’t get final approval until all the blocks are done & I can see how they work together.
Kate & I are heading to Minneapolis on Friday, and I’m planning to get some crocheting done in the car. It looks like Addie has a commitment-free weekend & we’re looking forward to checking in with him!

I’m almost finished with Kaffe Fassett: Dreaming In Color: An Autobiography! Then I’m probably back to Anthony Bourdain, at least for a little while.

Those crochet blocks are looking good! For some reason I especially like the green one with the small white center. The car sounds like the perfect place to crochet a block or three and visit with Addie. You’re keeping company with some interesting men – Kaffe and Tony.
Your Granny Squares look wonderful. What fun! I should get back to mine, but now I’m knitting toddler socks! Best pack some warm clothes for Minneapolis – have fun!!

The squares are looking great, Vicki! I think you’ll have a lot of fun fitting them all together at the end. It’s always hard to plan that kind of . . . happy-random-chaos . . . but in the end, it usually just WORKS. Have a great time in Minneapolis!
